Evaluating population ecology and demography of white-tailed deer

As an undergraduate assistant in this project with the Deer Laboratory at Auburn University, I assisted with deer chemical immobilization procedures, conducted white-tailed deer body and antler measurements, collected saliva samples, conducted ectoparasite counts, and utilized VHF radio telemetry. All of this data was contributed to a 20+ year dataset used in a project studying population demography and trends in white-tailed deer populations. Additionally, I participated in social media posts describing research objectives on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
